Is that blonde woman wholesome and vulnerable or cold-hearted and predatory? Is that brunette next door the woman you want your son to marry or a vixen with an agenda? An observer gets a message from fashion, which subtly declares a woman's appeal, character and romantic ambitions.
Over the last century, what subleties have made the lady-like woman look naughty, or the spicy women look nice? We found out when costume historian Ivan Sayers and live models showed how style, cut, and colour have enhanced sexual attrativeness and how a woman's contribution to an outfit has an impact on her appeal..."
